Partnerships

A partnership agreement is required when two or more than two parties enter into an agreement to start, manage and operate a business, and share both the profits and losses arising from its operations. Registering a business requires minimal regulatory compliances, though it is not mandatory to register a partnership, however by registering a partnership one can get certain rights under section 69 of the Partnership Act that majorly deals with the effects of partnership firms.

Documents required:

  • The application for the partnership registration must include prescribed documents like identity documents
  • Copy of the partnership deed and principal place for business.
  • For Identity and address proof following documents can be submitted
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Drivers License
  • Aadhar Card
  • Voter’s ID card
  • Proof of business premise can be submitted using following documents
  • Sale Deed in case of partner owing the place
  • Rental agreement copy if the office is on rent
  • Electricity or tax bill receipts copy
